Job summary

UMass Global is hiring an entry-level One Stop associate toroute queries and provide information on financial aid, accounts, and registration. You will join a comprehensive training program and support students under supervision.

The position may offer remote options with flexible hours, and requires strong communication and problem-solving skills. A background check is required, and compensation is reviewed within a defined hiring range.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in direct customer relations, preferably in higher education service.
• 1+ years of experience with enterprise software, phone systems, and document imaging systems.
• Excellent oral, written, interpersonal and quantitative communication skills.
• Comfort in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with proactive thinking.
• Solid understanding of higher education policies and procedures.
• Experience assisting veterans/military-related guidelines is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Answer and route inquiries via email, chat and telephone related to financial aid, accounts, registration, and records.
• Provide back-up support for phone/email during training period.
• Participate in supervised student contact sessions.
• Follow One Stop processes and policies and escalate as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
