Job summary

Merck Oncology Sales is looking for an experienced Oncology Sales Representative to cover a field-based territory in the United States. You will engage with customers, educate key stakeholders about our oncology portfolio, and strive to meet or exceed sales goals within your geography.

Willingness to travel for national meetings and conferences is required. Travel expectations range around 10–15% with overnight stays.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with at least 6 years of sales experience OR a high school diploma with at least 8 years of equivalent experience.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to drive a vehicle.
• Travel amount required including overnight travel 10–15%.

Responsibilities

• Meet or exceed assigned sales goals for the geography.
• Build business relationships with key stakeholders and understand practice structure, business model, and influencers.
• Communicate patient-centered rationale for oncology products in indicated uses.
• Analyze market trends and healthcare dynamics to inform territory plans.
• Collaborate with the Oncology Customer Team Leader and colleagues to deliver seamless customer experiences.
• Engage with customers using approved resources and messaging to drive product adoption.
