Job summary

Gymdesk is seeking an Onboarding Specialist to work remotely on a full-time contractor basis. You will guide new customers from signup to setup, tailor the platform to their operations, and train staff for day-one readiness.

You’ll partner with the migration team to land data cleanly and on schedule, delivering a highly satisfactory launch experience. In this role you’ll handle 40–50 customer onboardings monthly, communicate clearly in English, and push for continuous improvement by feeding back

Qualifications

• 2 to 4 years of onboarding, training, customer service, or project management experience.
• Very strong English speaking and writing skills; clear, confident communicator.
• Motivated by helping customers succeed and making their win.
• Comfort coordinating with cross-functional teams; proficient with Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Manage onboarding for a full book of customers, moving them from signed to setup to self-sufficient.
• Coordinate data migration with the migration team, ensuring clean data landing before launch.
• Configure Gymdesk to match each customer’s actual operations, not a generic template.
• Train new customers and staff on Gymdesk features that matter most to daily use.
• Deliver a launch experience that is efficient, personal, and genuinely helpful.
• Provide customer feedback to the Product team to influence future builds.
• Spot friction early and manage escalations to prevent churn risk.
• Collaborate with the VP of Customer Success to scale onboarding systems and playbooks.
