Job summary

CAI is seeking an Onboarding Specialist to manage end-to-end onboarding, maintain HRIS data in Workday, and deliver exceptional service for candidates and employees. This full-time, remote role does not sponsor employment; eligible to work in the United States is required.

You will coordinate pre-employment screening, ensure I-9 compliance, process HRIS transactions, and partner with Compliance and Talent Acquisition to ensure a seamless experience across the employee lifecycle.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in an HR onboarding or human capital management support role.
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills with a strong customer-service orientation.
• Attention to detail and accuracy with data entry.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate and execute end-to-end onboarding for new hires, serving as a responsive, customer-focused point of contact from offer through start date.
• Coordinate pre-employment screening (background checks, drug screenings) ensuring compliance and a smooth candidate experience.
• Ensure accurate, compliant I-9 completion and employment eligibility verification.
• Process HRIS transactions for candidates and employees with timely stakeholder communication.
• Support the setup and maintenance of contingent worker engagements and rate changes.
• Serve as a primary point of contact between CAI and suppliers resolving worker-related issues with clear communication.
