Job summary

CAI is seeking a motivated Onboarding Specialist to elevate our onboarding experience. This remote, full-time role supports HR compliance, lifecycle transactions, and delivers a customer-service-driven candidate journey from offer to start date.

You will use Workday to process onboarding, partner with Compliance and Talent Acquisition, and safeguard sensitive information while guiding new hires through I-9 and pre-employment steps.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in an HR onboarding or human capital management support role.
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, with a strong customer-service orientation.
• Excellent attention to detail, work prioritization skills, and accuracy with data entry.
• Experience with Workday HCM and immigration-related onboarding processes.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate end-to-end onboarding for new hires, from offer through start date.
• Coordinate pre-employment screening (background checks, drug screenings) and ensure compliance.
• Ensure accurate I-9 completion and employment eligibility verification.
• Process HRIS transactions (offer letters, changes) with timely stakeholder communication.
• Support setup and maintenance of contingent worker engagements and SOW changes.
• Serve as a primary liaison between CAI and suppliers, resolving worker-related issues.
