Job summary

CAI is seeking an Onboarding Specialist to facilitate and execute end-to-end onboarding for new hires in a remote-capable, full-time role. You will manage HRIS data, coordinate screenings, and ensure compliant I-9 processing while delivering exceptional customer service to candidates and employees.

You will work with Compliance, HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, and other HCM teams to ensure a seamless experience and timely communications.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in an HR onboarding or human capital management support role.
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills with a strong customer-service orientation.
• Excellent attention to detail, data entry accuracy, and prioritization.
• Ability to think critically, solve problems, and build trust.
• Innovative mindset for process improvements.
• Strong experience with MS Office Suite.
• Workday HCM experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate and execute end-to-end onboarding for new hires, serving as a responsive point of contact from offer through start date.
• Coordinate pre-employment screening and ensure compliance and a smooth candidate experience.
• Ensure accurate I-9 completion and employment eligibility verification.
• Process HRIS transactions for candidates and employees with timely stakeholder communication.
• Support setup and maintenance of contingent worker engagements, partnering with suppliers on SOWs.
• Serve as primary contact between CAI and suppliers, resolving worker-related issues.
• Deliver client-specific requirements with precision and service mindset.
• Act as SME on new hire processes and workflows, guiding candidates and stakeholders.
• Use Workday to execute onboarding and lifecycle processes efficiently.
• Collaborate with Compliance, HRBP, Talent Acquisition, and other HCM teams.
