Job summary

CAI is seeking an Onboarding Specialist to manage end-to-end onboarding, ensuring HR compliance and delivering outstanding service for candidates and employees. This full-time, remote role supports the employee lifecycle and HRIS data integrity.

Responsibilities include coordinating pre-employment screening, executing onboarding tasks in Workday, and partnering with Compliance, HRBP, and Talent Acquisition to create a seamless onboarding experience for a global team.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in HR onboarding or human capital management support.
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills with strong customer-service orientation.
• Attention to detail, prioritization, and data-entry accuracy.
• Experience with Workday HCM and MS Office; ability to communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate end-to-end onboarding for new hires, serving as a primary contact from offer through start date.
• Coordinate pre-employment screening (background checks, drug screenings) and ensure compliance.
• Ensure accurate I-9 completion and employment eligibility verification.
• Process HRIS transactions (offer letters, start/end date changes) with timely stakeholder communication.
• Support contingent worker engagements and SLAs with suppliers on SOWs and rate changes.
• Serve as a primary CAI-supplier liaison to resolve worker-related issues.
