Job summary

One Step Software is hiring a hands-on Onboarding Specialist to guide new customers from signup through full adoption. You will personally run onboarding calls, configure customer accounts, build training materials, and design scalable processes that turn new signups into long-term customers.

You will lead onboarding calls, migrate data, and create helpful docs, templates, and self-serve flows. A startup mindset, customer empathy, and a love for automation will help you succeed in a 100% remote,

Qualifications

• 2+ years in customer onboarding, implementation, or customer success at a B2B SaaS company.
• Startup experience preferred.
• Experience with small businesses preferred.
• Hands-on operator experience: ran onboarding calls, configured accounts, wrote docs, owned activation outcomes.
• Gift for teaching non-technical users and simplifying software.
• Love automating processes and improving operations.
• Metrics-driven with ability to track retention and react to numbers.
• Empathy for clients and a collaborative mindset.

Responsibilities

• Own the new customer journey from signup to full adoption.
• Define, build, and continuously improve onboarding experience with milestones and activation goals.
• Lead kickoff and training calls, configure accounts, migrate data, and enable live programs quickly.
• Advise clients on using our features to optimize day-to-day operations.
• Build scalable resources and self-serve flows to speed onboarding without extra headcount.
• Create training materials: help docs, video walkthroughs, templates, and flows.
• Utilize AI tools to accelerate material creation and personalize onboarding at scale.
