Job summary

Remote is seeking a Manager, Onboarding Operations to lead a high-volume, regionally aligned onboarding team across multiple countries. You will drive people leadership, delivery quality, compliance, and continuous improvement of the onboarding lifecycle.

You will partner with AI/automation initiatives, embracing responsible adoption and ensuring top-tier employee and customer outcomes. This role reports to the Senior Manager, Onboarding Operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and mentor an aligned team of Onboarding Operations Specialists, creating an inclusive, high‑performing environment.
• Own team performance, delivery quality and achievement against agreed operational targets and service standards.
• Manage all aspects of people leadership, including motivation, feedback, performance reviews and difficult conversations.
• Act as an escalation point for complex onboarding challenges, coordinating cross‑functional ownership.
• Collaborate with Managers globally to drive operational change and align regions.
• Use data to track team performance, capacity, quality and risk with clear recommendations.
• Continuously identify and implement improvements to onboarding processes and experience.
• Serve as a subject‑matter expert on global onboarding and escalations, ensuring data privacy.
• Support reporting, audit, compliance and data integrity initiatives.
• Identify and prioritize opportunities to simplify or automate workflows.
• Lead adoption of approved AI and automation tools within the team.
• Partner with specialists to define requirements, test solutions and support adoption.
• Measure changes against efficiency, quality and customer outcomes.
• Encourage responsible experimentation without compromising compliance.
• Move from opportunity scouting to scalable solutions.
