Job summary

Cloud Accountant Staffing LLC is seeking a remote, full-time independent contractor to lead client onboarding for US accounting firms and businesses. You’ll ensure complete setup, clear expectations, and early value, coordinating with sales and placement teams as needed.

The role emphasizes organized onboarding, process documentation, and a client-first mindset. Expect collaboration via Slack/Zoom and a strong focus on consistency and trust-building.

Qualifications

• Accounting or bookkeeping experience or strong aptitude for the space
• 2–3 years in a customer-facing role such as onboarding or customer success
• Clear written and spoken English with ability to explain complex ideas simply
• Strong attention to detail and client-first mindset
• Interest in process improvement, documentation, and operational efficiency
• Familiarity with tools like Slack, Notion, HubSpot, or Salesforce
• Ownership mentality: organized, responsive, able to manage multiple onboardings
• Comfortable working US business hours from home

Responsibilities

• Run onboarding calls and walk new clients through how CAS works
• Ensure setup and account details are complete and accurate for every client
• Flag early concerns with sales/placement to prevent prospect drop-off
• Check in with clients during first months and respond promptly
• Help clients see value quickly and build confidence in the partnership
• Contribute to retention after the initial implementation period
• Create guides, videos, and documentation to simplify onboarding
• Collect client feedback and share with the team to improve service
• Document best practices and improve internal workflows
