Job summary

Elwyn is seeking an Onboarding Coordinator to support pre-hire activities across PA, DE, and NJ. You will serve as the main contact for new hires, manage background checks, verifications, and I-9 processes, and partner with Talent Acquisition, Credentialing, and HR to deliver a smooth onboarding experience.

The role is a short-term assignment, primarily remote with occasional on-site attendance at Elwyn offices or events.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in Human Resources, Talent Acquisition, credentialing/compliance, onboarding, or administrative support.
• Experience coordinating background checks, clearances, and pre-employment screenings is preferred.
• Experience using HR systems such as an ATS and/or HRIS is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for new hires from offer to Day One readiness with clear guidance and timelines.
• Coordinate and track completion of pre-employment requirements including background checks and verifications.
• Initiate, monitor, and document all required verifications and ensure records are audit-ready.
• Facilitate new-hire paperwork and schedule I-9 verification and orientation sessions.
• Maintain HR system updates and communicate progress to Hiring Managers and Talent Acquisition.
• Ensure confidentiality and compliance with all regulations related to background screening.
