Job summary

HealthChannels is seeking an Employee Experience Specialist to support onboarding and the employee lifecycle in a fully remote, full-time role.

You will handle I-9 verification, new hire setup, background checks, credentialing, and data entry in HRIS, coordinating with payroll, TA, and IT to ensure a compliant and seamless experience.

The position emphasizes accuracy, confidentiality, and responsiveness in a fast-paced environment with remote collaboration across multiple departments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 2+ years of experience in HR operations, onboarding, or employee data management preferred.
• Strong knowledge of employment verification (Form I-9) requirements and compliance best practices.

Responsibilities

• Conduct welcome calls with new hires to guide onboarding.
• Act as the primary contact for employee inquiries and escalate complex matters.
• Serve as an authorized I-9 reviewer, ensuring employment eligibility verifications are accurate and compliant.
• Support onboarding documentation, background checks, credential compliance, and HRIS data entry for new employees.
• Liaise with third-party vendors (background, medical, VMS) and manage system integrations for onboarding.
• Manage credentialing and re-credentialing to ensure regulatory and client-specific compliance.
• Maintain employee records with confidentiality and precision.
• Collaborate with payroll, Talent Acquisition, Operations, and IT teams to ensure smooth employee lifecycle processes.
• Support HR audits and maintain compliance with internal policies and regulations.
• Identify opportunities to streamline HR processes for efficiency and consistency.
