Job summary

Help at Home is seeking an Onboarding Specialist to manage new hire onboarding, verify eligibility, and maintain accurate employee files. You will coordinate background checks, I-9 processing, and certification verification while ensuring compliance with regulations.

The role emphasizes confidentiality, strong communication, and cross-team collaboration to support a smooth onboarding experience for applicants and new hires.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; HS diploma required.
• Experience in recruiting or onboarding preferred.
• Familiarity with applicant tracking systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Onboard assigned applicants and manage the process.
• Create and maintain candidate profiles across systems.
• Administer background checks, I-9s, and risk assessments.
• Verify Social Security and run certifications as needed.
• Maintain confidential employee files and records.
• Keep managers informed of policy changes affecting onboarding.
• Attend trainings and perform additional duties as assigned.
