Signature Performance is seeking an Observation Medical Coder for a remote position, available nationwide. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Medical Coding, with at least 2 years of experience and proficiency in EHR systems.

This full-time role offers a competitive hourly rate ranging from $27 to $30, along with comprehensive benefits including health insurance, paid holidays, and tuition assistance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Medical Coding experience required.
• Experience with Professional Fee Coding.
• Education, Experience & Certification Requirements vary based on coding assigned.

Responsibilities

• Assign diagnoses and procedures by reviewing documentation in the medical record.
• Review discharge summaries and medical records to assign diagnoses and procedures.
• Ensure correct code selection following Official Coding Guidelines.
• Review coding for accuracy before submission to billing.
• Abstract required medical information and enter it into the system.
• Identify incomplete documentation and formulate physician queries.
