Job summary

D2B, a NZ-based financial management firm, seeks a detail-oriented Remote Bookkeeper. You will manage daily Xero records across client accounts, ensuring GST accuracy while supporting payroll and compliance workflows. This role is remote and suited for candidates with NZ bookkeeping exposure.

You will liaise with clients and vendors, maintain six-minute time-tracking, and produce monthly reports including P&L and balance sheets. Strong English communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Formal bookkeeping or accounting qualification.
• 2–5 years NZ bookkeeping experience including GST.
• Minimum 2 years Xero experience.
• Strong written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Maintain daily Xero records across multiple client accounts with GST.
• Manage accounts payable/receivable via Xero, Hubdoc, Dext.
• Prepare monthly reports: P&L, Balance Sheet, cash summaries.
• Process payroll and set up client payroll configurations.
• Ensure GST returns and PAYE compliance.
• Communicate with clients and vendors clearly.
• Track time in six-minute increments and manage tasks in Asana.
