a1mobile is building the AI-native carrier for businesses. This Sales Representative role is remote but based in New York City, with you touring local SMBs across NYC to introduce an a1mobile number and demonstrate our AI-powered reception and services.

You will own the full sales cycle from prospecting to close, focusing on in-person visits, and collaborating with our San Francisco team to scale across the city. This role demands hands-on field work and quota attainment in a fast-moving startup.

Formación

• 2+ years in full-cycle SMB sales
• Experience with door-to-door selling
• Knowledge of NYC neighborhoods
• Self-starter who works independently
• Strong ownership and ability to move work forward

Responsabilidades

• Prospect and visit restaurants, cafes, salons, studios, contractors, and hotels across NYC.
• Go door to door across NYC neighborhoods, walking into businesses to pitch in person and switch them to an a1mobile number.
• Run discovery and live demos showing how the AI receptionist answers calls, takes bookings and orders, and follows up.
• Close deals and guide new customers through activation and number porting.
• Build a local pipeline through walk-ins, referrals, events, and neighborhood partnerships.
• Hit monthly targets and track your activity in the CRM.
• Share what works on the ground so we can build a repeatable playbook for new cities.
