Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Nurse Manager for the Medical Management & Transition Team to provide operational, clinical, and strategic leadership for virtual care programs. You will oversee daily operations, quality outcomes, and staff performance while ensuring regulatory compliance and patient-centered care across the care continuum.

The role emphasizes collaboration, medication management, and population health strategies to improve patient transitions from ED to home and other care pathways.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of nursing; BSN or enrollment in the next 2 years.
• Current RN licensure in the applicable state.
• Four years of clinical experience with management, supervision, teaching, performance improvement, and budgeting.
• CPR and NRP certifications.
• Medication and math competency exam required before medication administration.
• BS/MS preferred.
• At least 2 years of supervisory/management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational, clinical, and strategic leadership for virtual-based transitional care programs.
• Oversee daily operations, quality outcomes, staff performance, and regulatory compliance.
• Foster interdisciplinary collaboration and ensure safe, patient-centered care delivery.
• Advance population health strategies and care coordination across the care continuum.
• Manage and optimize Mercy’s virtual care management initiatives.
