Job summary

IQVIA is seeking a Flex Nurse Educator in the United States to deliver remote patient education and, when needed, provide in-field support for territory vacancies. This non-clinical role focuses on empowering patients to manage disease and improve treatment adherence while upholding privacy and high educational standards.

The position requires an active RN license, a bachelor’s degree, up to 50% travel, and the ability to work across time zones. Visa sponsorship is not offered.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in good standing; compact multi-state preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher.
• California RN licensure may be required if residing in Mountain/Pacific time zones.
• Must reside within the specified geography.
• At least 5 years clinical experience in hospital, home health, pharmaceutical, or biotech settings.
• Exceptional communication, organization, and time management skills.
• Proficient in virtual platforms, documentation, MS Office, and iPad technology.
• Private designated workspace at home required.
• Driving is required; valid driver’s license; driving record will be reviewed.
• Must reside in country where the job is posted.

Responsibilities

• Deliver remote patient education via telephonic, video, email, SMS, and secure messaging.
• Provide in-person education during territory vacancies, including home visits.
• Connect patients with program-approved resources and promote dialogue with healthcare providers.
• Maintain documentation and comply with KPIs and protocols.
• Collaborate with District Managers and Field Leadership; participate in training and onboarding of new staff.
• Coordinate connections between patients and program-approved resources.
• Educate patients on disease states and prescribed medications.
• Support patient adherence and address access barriers during treatment journeys.
• Engage in professional development, team meetings, and quality improvement initiatives.
