Job summary

IQVIA in the United States is seeking a Flex Nurse Educator to support patient education remotely and in-field during coverage gaps. This is an educational, non-clinical role focused on empowering patients to manage their disease and improve adherence.

Candidates should have an active RN license, a Bachelor's degree, and strong communication skills. Travel up to 50% is required; schedule is Monday–Friday with weekend/evening flexibility.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in good standing; multi-state compact preferred
• Bachelor’s degree required; BSN preferred
• Ability to obtain or maintain California RN licensure if needed by geography
• Experience in hospital, home health, pharma, or biotech settings is expected
• Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills
• Proficient with virtual platforms, documentation tools, and MS Office

Responsibilities

• Deliver remote patient education, including medication administration training and adherence support via telephonic, video, email, SMS, and secure messaging
• This is an educational, non-clinical role; empower patients to manage disease and improve treatment adherence
• Provide in-person support education during territory vacancies, including home visits
• Facilitate connections to program resources and encourage dialogue with healthcare providers
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with protocols and KPIs
• Collaborate with District Managers and Field Leadership; participate in training and mentoring
• Coordinate connections between patients and program resources
• Provide educational training to patients on specific disease states and prescribed medications
• Support patient adherence to treatment plans as directed by their HCP
• Engage in professional development, team meetings, and quality improvement initiatives
• Uphold program guidelines; ensure non-clinical interactions and compliance
• Meet territory targets and regulatory standards
