Qualifications

• Five+ years in nuclear field, nuclear analysis, or related engineering work.
• Degree in Nuclear or Mechanical Engineering required (BSc/MSc).
• Experience with RELAP5-3D and TRACE for thermal-hydraulic analysis.
• Strong background in fluid dynamics, heat transfer, physics, or structural mechanics.
• Proven ability to perform complex engineering analysis and quantitative work.
• Excellent technical writing for reports and documentation.
• Effective communication for presenting findings to teams.
• Ability to work independently and in multidisciplinary teams.
• Adaptability to evolving project requirements.
• Strong verification mindset and validation of results.
• Proficiency with MS Word for reports.

Responsibilities

• Perform nuclear safety analyses for advanced reactors and systems.
• Model thermal-hydraulic behavior for various operating and safety conditions.
• Analyze heat transfer and fluid behavior in nuclear systems.
• Use RELAP5-3D, TRACE to simulate reactor response.
• Support analysis of reactor and core behavior under transients and accidents.
• Document methodologies, assumptions, and conclusions clearly.
• Write technical reports and white papers communicating approaches and results.
• Develop presentations for internal and customer stakeholders.
• Collaborate with lead engineers to refine models and solve problems.
• Support NRC/DOE related requirements and customer-funded projects.
• Engage in ongoing learning in thermal-hydraulics and safety analysis.
