Job summary

System One, Inc. is seeking a Senior Safety Analysis Engineer for a remote-offsite contract in Bellevue, WA. The role focuses on safety analysis for advanced reactor concepts, with emphasis on testing, modeling, and regulatory documentation.

You will collaborate across teams to ensure SSC safety and performance while contributing to licensing and design activities. Requires nuclear engineering advanced degree and 5+ years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in nuclear safety analysis and reactor modeling.
• Familiar with NRC submittals and regulatory analysis.
• Strong quantitative, analytical, and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and update test abstracts/specifications for commissioning.
• Support SSC performance and operation procedure development.
• Model systems and analyze AOO/DBE/DBA for Natrium reactor.
• Collaborate to define safety, performance, and quality requirements.
• Integrate LBE analyses into licensing docs and design activities.
