ENERCON is seeking a Safety Analysis Engineer for its Nuclear Services group. You will develop safety analysis work products supporting licensing, design basis, and operability of commercial nuclear power and fuel cycle facilities, including radiological, thermal-hydraulic, chemical, and environmental assessments.

You will perform safety calculations, build computer models using GOTHIC, RELAP, RETRAN, MAAP, and provide support for license amendments and NRC information requests.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in nuclear, mechanical, chemical engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of nuclear safety analysis experience.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Willingness to travel to plant sites.

Mansioni

• Safety & licensing support including calculations and licensing documents.
• Develop models and analyses using thermal hydraulics codes.
• Perform shielding and radiological evaluations.
• Develop nuclear fuels and criticality analyses.
• Conduct environmental dispersion and impact assessments.
