GE Vernova, Inc. is seeking a technical professional to perform plant thermal-hydraulic safety analyses for LOCA, containment, and related areas, supporting reloads and design applications for BWRs and other advanced reactors.

You will collaborate with design, licensing, and systems teams to deliver robust safety analyses and improvements. The role requires 3+ years in TH Nuclear Plant Safety Analysis, familiarity with TRACG/TRACE/RELAP, and programming skills in C#, FORTRAN, or Python.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (Nuclear, Mechanical, Chemical or similar) from an accredited college/university.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Thermal Hydraulic Nuclear Plant Safety Analysis.
• Experience with BWRs or PWRs or comparable piping networks, fluid flow, pump design, pressure vessels.

Responsabilidades

• Perform plant thermal-hydraulic evaluations and analyses in ECCS LOCA, Containment, HELB, Fire Safe Shutdown, Annulus Pressurization Loads, and RIPD analyses.
• Provide technical mentoring and contribute to knowledge management and procedure development.
• Develop/deliver training for external and internal audiences; lead process improvements to enhance speed and simplification.

Educación

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Nuclear, Mechanical, Chemical, or similar) from an accredited college or university

Ph.D. and/or M.S. Degree in Nuclear Engineering
