Amentum is seeking a Management and Systems Engineer in Oak Ridge, TN to lead requirements management for nuclear infrastructure delivery. You will coordinate with clients, vendors, and cross-disciplinary teams to ensure interfaces and controls align with project goals and safety standards.

The role emphasizes verification of requirements, documentation in database tools, and contributor to change management processes, with a strong focus on collaboration across stakeholders and disciplines.

Qualifications

• Must have experience in a project delivery and people management role.
• Broad knowledge of project delivery disciplines for nuclear facility infrastructure.
• Self-starter, able to collaborate across levels and reporting lines.
• Strong relationship management, facilitation and consulting skills.
• Experience with Engineering Design Process (control of design inputs and verification/validation).
• Knowledge of DOE orders, standards, and guidelines for requirements management.
• Experience with change management and/or leading a change control process.
• Experience managing Contracts and SOW requirements.
• Experience maintaining a requirements management system or tool.
• Ability to write and review technical quality documentation.
• Familiarity with safety and operational requirements from design to implementation.

Responsibilities

• Assist in development and management of requirements for nuclear infrastructure delivery.
• Assemble and manage high-level requirements to satisfy customer and project goals.
• Oversee development of derived requirements during early design definition.
• Manage Contract and SOW requirements.
• Communicate effectively across all levels and with clients and vendors.
• Interface with clients to define and control interfaces across engineering disciplines.
• Develop interface definitions and controls for cross-discipline integration.
• Organize work and project team within company standards.
• Document requirements in a database tool for documentation and control.
• Assist verification that requirements are satisfied during delivery and in reports.
• Assist change management and assess impacts of changes on requirements.
