Job summary

RISINGSUN TECHNOLOGIES is seeking a Human Factors Engineer (Nuclear Operations) for a 100% remote role. You will apply human factors to plant designs, procedures, and interfaces while meeting regulatory and quality standards.

The ideal candidate has RO license, 5+ years as RO and 2+ years HFE experience, with strong nuclear operations knowledge. Travel for sites and international visits may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or another technical discipline.
• Active or previous Reactor Operator (RO) License.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Reactor Operator.
• Minimum 2 years of Human Factors Engineering (HFE) experience.
• Strong understanding of nuclear plant operations and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Apply knowledge of nuclear plant operations and regulatory processes to engineering activities.
• Perform human factors analyses for plant control systems.
• Review, test, and validate human-system interfaces using plant simulators and operating procedures.
• Translate design requirements into engineering analyses and technical documentation.
• Develop and support procedures and operator training materials.
• Support RAM programs and reliability objectives.
• Contribute to design reviews and regulatory compliance.
• Deliver high-quality documentation in line with standards.
