Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a Human Factors Engineer (HFE) Technical Leader to establish HFE processes for nuclear plants, lead development of Maintenance, Inspection, and Testing procedures, and guide human-centric system design and safety analyses.

You will oversee task design, human-system interfaces, and procedural validation, while coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure regulatory alignment and project success.

Qualifications

• Bachelors in science in Human Factors, Industrial Engineering, or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• MS/PhD in Human Factors/Industrial Engineering or related field desirable.
• Registered Professional Engineer in the US or Canada is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Articulate the work plan for the technical scope.
• Maintain project schedules with PM support.
• Ensure compliance to procedures, standards, and regulatory criteria.
• Develop and implement HFE program plans and validations.
• Represent HFE with customers, suppliers, and regulators.
• Deliver on-time, high-quality engineering documentation.
