Job summary

Jobgether is seeking an experienced finance leader to manage day-to-day nonprofit accounting, cash flow, and budgeting. You will coordinate with program teams, prepare donor and grant reporting, and maintain financial systems for accuracy and compliance.

This fully remote role supports the organization from anywhere in the United States. The ideal candidate has strong GAAP knowledge for nonprofits, experience with Sage Intacct or similar platforms, and excellent analytical and communication

Qualifications

• Experience managing finance operations and budgets in nonprofit organizations.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP for nonprofits and relevant compliance (501(c)(3)/(c)(4)).
• Proficiency with financial systems and spreadsheets (Excel/Google Sheets).
• Experience with accounting system maintenance, reconciliations, and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day accounting activities (AP, cash management, revenue/expense tracking).
• Monitor cash flow, prepare quarterly reconciliations, support financial statements for leadership and boards.
• Lead budgeting and forecasting processes with program teams.
• Manage internal financial systems and workflows for accuracy and efficiency.
• Prepare donor reports and funder-related financial materials.
