Jobgether invites applications for a Finance Manager role with a partner nonprofit focused on expanding voter registration and representation. You will oversee day-to-day accounting, budgeting, cash flow, and reporting while upholding GAAP and internal controls.

Based in the United States and fully remote with ~5% travel, you will collaborate with Finance, Fundraising, People & Culture, and Program teams to provide accurate insights to leadership and funders.

Formación

• Demonstrated experience managing finance operations, accounting activities, and budgets totaling at least $1 million annually.
• Strong understanding of GAAP for nonprofit organizations and 501(c)(3)/(c)(4) entities.
• Experience in accounts payable, cash flow, revenue/expense tracking, reconciliations, budgeting, and reporting.
• Proficiency with spreadsheet tools; familiarity with financial systems beyond basic spreadsheets is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Manage day-to-day accounting activities, including accounts payable and cash management.
• Monitor cash flow, support quarterly reconciliations, and provide financial analyses to leadership and funders.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and monthly variance reporting with program teams.
• Maintain and improve internal financial systems and workflows for accuracy and efficiency.
• Prepare donor financial reports and respond to funder reporting requirements.
• Coordinate payroll activities and ensure compliance with compensation records.
• Ensure internal controls and expense policies align with GAAP and organizational requirements.
• Identify process improvements to strengthen compliance and efficiency.
• Communicate financial information clearly to non-financial colleagues and leadership.
