Job summary

Investments & Wealth Institute in the United States seeks an experienced Controller to lead its accounting function, ensure accuracy of financial records, and drive close processes and reporting.

You will oversee ASC 606 revenue, annual audit, Form 990, internal controls, and the Sage Intacct implementation, while mentoring accounting staff and partnering with leadership on budgets and strategic finance initiatives. This is a remote role with quarterly travel to Denver.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience including month-end close and audits.
• Experience supervising staff and managing budgets.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP including ASC 606 across revenue streams.
• Experience administering cloud-based accounting systems and automating workflows.

Responsibilities

• Lead accounting function and close processes.
• Oversee revenue recognition under ASC 606 and related schedules.
• Manage annual audit, Form 990, and tax filings; maintain internal controls.
• Implement Sage Intacct and design automated accounting processes.
• Develop staff and partner with leadership on budgets and strategic finance.
