Your Part-Time Controller, LLC (YPTC) is a national leader in outsourced accounting for nonprofits. We seek a dedicated Controller to guide client accounting, interact with boards, and ensure strong internal controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• 5-7+ years accounting experience.
• Remote environment experience preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple clients and work independently.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
• Experience with QuickBooks and electronic bill pay systems.
• Non-profit accounting or consulting experience is a plus.
• CPA certification is a plus.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
• Customized cover letter explaining interest and qualifications required.

Responsibilities

• Transform nonprofit client financial departments to meet their mission.
• Prepare financial reporting for management and boards.
• Improve accounting controls and client policies.
• Handle AP/AR, payroll, reconciliations, and month-end close.
• Perform budgeting, forecasting, and data visualization.
• Manage grant reporting and funder requirements.
• Prepare for annual audits.
• Provide client and staff training opportunities.
