Job summary

Your Part-Time Controller, LLC (YPTC) is a national leader providing outsourced accounting to nonprofit organizations. We seek a dedicated Controller to guide clients and deliver transformative accounting services, working with multiple nonprofits both virtually and on-site.

The ideal candidate has 7–10+ years nonprofit accounting experience, strong Excel and QuickBooks skills, and CPA is a plus. We offer a hybrid work environment, growth opportunities, and competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required.
• 7–10+ years accounting experience with nonprofit focus preferred.
• Experience in remote environments and managing multiple clients.

Responsibilities

• Serve as outsourced Controller/CFO for multiple nonprofit clients.
• Prepare financial reporting for management and boards.
• Improve accounting processes, internal controls and compliance.
• Handle accounts payable/receivable, payroll, reconciliations and month-end close.
• Conduct budgeting, forecasting and data visualization.
• Oversee grant management and funder reporting.
• Prepare for annual audits and provide staff training.
