Job summary

HonorBridge is seeking a night-shift Referral Allocation Coordinator to manage organ referrals, coordinate allocation, and support donor case progression from a remote home-based setup. North Carolina residency is required, with three 12-hour shifts per week and on-call duties including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities include reviewing referrals, coordinating with hospitals and transplant centers, completing OPTN/UNOS documentation, and ensuring confidential handling of donor information

Qualifications

• Associate degree in healthcare or 2-3 years clinical healthcare experience.
• Experience as EMT/Paramedic/LPN/RN or other clinical professional preferred.
• North Carolina residency required.
• Familiarity with medical terminology and clinical coordination.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate organ donation by serving as the referral and allocation coordinator on call.
• Review new referrals and assess donor potential through medical record review.
• Coordinate organ offers and document processes per OPTN/UNOS policies.
• Collaborate with hospital teams, AOC, and HonorBridge staff to progress donor cases.
• Maintain DonorNet documentation and ensure confidentiality of information.
