Job summary

Day Translations is seeking a Localization Project Manager to join our team and work the night shift in the USA time zone. This remote role will serve as the bridge between clients and freelance translators and interpreters, driving projects from inception to delivery.

You will oversee budgets, timelines, and quality, coordinating across languages and teams. A background in translation, localization, and customer support is essential, as is experience with CAT tools and translation management

Qualifications

• Experience in project management, business administration, and customer service.
• Knowledge of Localization for the Localization Project Manager role.
• Knowledge and experience with CAT tools Smartcat and MemoQ.
• Knowledge and experience with translation management systems like Trados.
• University degree in a relevant field preferred.
• Excellent English (native or C1) and proficiency in a second language.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate costs, prepare budgets and quotes for clients.
• Coordinate project phases and set achievable deadlines.
• Use Plunet for time tracking and manage lifecycle of projects.
• Adhere to policies and respond to client inquiries promptly.
• Negotiate deadlines and rates with freelancers.
• Maintain relationships with freelancers globally.
• Monitor project status and manage budgets.
• Perform quality checks and handle freelancer queries.
