Job summary

Avantpage, Inc. is seeking an experienced localization Project Manager to guide new clients from handoff through onboarding and implementation.

You will own day-to-day client communication, scope and launch localization programs, lead meetings and product demonstrations, and coordinate internal teams to deliver scalable solutions. The role requires 3+ years in localization project management, strong client-facing skills, and familiarity with TMS/CAT/OCR tools.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of project management experience in localization or language services.
• Proven ownership of client accounts or complex programs.
• Strong client-facing experience and ability to lead meetings and manage expectations.
• Experience with localization technologies and workflows (TMS, CAT, OCR).
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision and handle ambiguity.
• Excellent organization, prioritization, and attention to detail in deadline-driven environments.
• Fluent written and verbal English; additional languages a plus.

Responsibilities

• Be the primary day-to-day contact for newly onboarded clients throughout implementation.
• Translate client needs into executable project plans with cross-functional teams.
• Scope, quote, plan, and monitor translation/localization projects to meet quality, deadlines, and budgets.
• Lead client kickoffs, discovery sessions, status meetings, and demonstrations.
• Coordinate nontraditional and tech-enabled solutions, including portals and data-driven workflows.
• Create and maintain project procedures and implementation documentation with global production teams.
• Ensure accurate setup and financial data across systems to support profitability.
• Manage quotes, test translations, ad hoc tasks, and implementation support.
