Job summary

Gravity IT Resources is seeking a Shift Analyst to provide overnight monitoring and Tier 2 support for enterprise infrastructure and business-critical applications. This entry-level role is ideal for a technically curious IT professional who enjoys problem-solving and wants to grow within an infrastructure environment.

Location: Charlotte, NC area with remote options; night shift 6:00 PM–6:00 AM, 3-4 days/week, rotating schedule.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT or related field with 1 year of related experience.
Basic infrastructure/server support experience.
Windows Server experience.
Strong troubleshooting, communication, and teamwork skills.
Ability to work a rotating overnight schedule.

Responsibilities

Monitor and troubleshoot Windows/Linux servers, virtualization, storage, and enterprise applications.
Monitor and support production batch jobs and workflows.
Perform server reboots, incident response, and escalations.
Assist with monthly patching, infrastructure changes, and DR exercises.
Document incidents, requests, and resolutions.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.
Collaborate with infrastructure teams and participate in cross-training.
