Pitt Technology Group is seeking a Network/Systems Administrator to join a collaborative team in Springfield, MO. You will support a broad range of IT scenarios including user assistance, software deployment, and network infrastructure management, with a focus on delivering secure, reliable services to clients.

The role involves working with Windows environments, virtualization, AD/DNS/DHCP, firewall security, VPNs, and IP telephony, while offering flexible schedules and potential remote options.

Qualifications

• Recent success working in an IT managed service provider environment.
• End user support via phone, in-person, and remote access tools.
• Windows workstation deployment, support, and maintenance.
• Server virtualization and maintenance (VMware or Hyper‑V).
• Windows server management including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, print server, file server etc.
• Network troubleshooting related to IP addressing, DHCP, VLANs, etc.
• Security optimization using network firewalls and enterprise anti-virus solutions.
• Wireless network infrastructure deployment and support.
• Troubleshooting common business applications including Microsoft Office Suite, web browsers, QuickBooks, cloud-based apps, etc.
• Supporting connectivity of remote sites and locations using client or site-to-site VPN
• Deploying, configuring and supporting IP phone systems
• Managing business use of mobile devices including Android and iOS phones and tablets

Responsibilities

• Respond to incoming requests and coordinate with managed IT clients to address their needs via remote access or on-site assistance
• Build relationships with clients to understand business goals and proactively recommend solutions
• Install, upgrade, and troubleshoot Microsoft 365 and other business applications
• Install and manage network infrastructure including firewalls, switching, and Wi-Fi
• Deploy and support user equipment including Windows desktops, laptops, VOIP phones and mobile devices
• Optimize and monitor core IT infrastructure including physical and virtual servers and storage
