Job summary

KellyMitchell Group seeks a Network Operations Specialist for a 24/7 eyes-on-glass role in a large-scale global network. You will monitor health, priorities events, and coordinate with vendors and internal teams in a rapid-response environment.

The role emphasizes real-time monitoring, incident triage, and seamless collaboration with cross-functional support. Remote work is expected on a second shift with precise ET hours. This is a W-2 position.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of software engineering, DevOps, or network operations experience.
  • Experience monitoring real-time production environments and dealing with third-party vendors.
  • Direct experience working in agile teams and fast-turnaround response workflows.
  • Ability to learn new cloud and network software technologies quickly.

Responsibilities

  • Administer and manage day-to-day network operations for a large-scale global environment.
  • Maintain constant surveillance of the data network for connectivity issues and performance degradation.
  • Track, document, and manage system alerts and tickets with external vendors and internal teams.
  • Act on rapid response calls, prioritizing events in a fast-paced environment.
  • Execute planned data network changes without hardware modifications.
  • Contribute to agile ceremonies, lead tool demos, and deliver progress presentations.
