Job summary

TeamLogic IT Assist is seeking a Network Operations & Security Specialist I for a fully remote role. You will serve as a first line of defense, monitor security events, conduct initial triage, and support daily NOC functions to maintain uptime across client environments.

The ideal candidate will handle basic incident response, coordinate with MDR/SOC vendors, and document actions thoroughly while working in a fast-paced, hybrid security and network operations setting.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in a related field or 2+ years in a similar role.
• Foundational cybersecurity knowledge and incident handling basics.
• Experience with PSA/RMM and SIEM tools is preferred.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security events and perform initial triage of incidents.
• Support NOC functions: monitoring, incident response, uptime.
• Escalate complex issues to senior staff and coordinate actions.
• Maintain incident documentation and internal SecOps policies.
• Prepare routine operations or availability reports.
