Job summary

Koniag Data Solutions is seeking a skilled Software Developer to support the CTIS‑M modernization program for USDA APHIS PPQ. This fully remote role contributes to backend services, frontend interfaces, and cloud‑native features using .NET 10, React, Azure SQL, Kubernetes, and MuleSoft APIs.

The ideal candidate has strong experience with REST APIs, Agile development, and DevOps pipelines, and must be able to obtain a Public Trust clearance while collaborating with cross‑functional teams.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Proficiency with .NET (preferably .NET 10+).
Hands-on experience with React or modern JavaScript/TypeScript frontend frameworks.
Proficiency with Azure DevOps workflows and YAML-based pipelines.
Experience integrating with REST APIs and cloud services.
Experience working in Agile Scrum environments.

Responsibilities

Develop scalable backend APIs and microservices using .NET 10 for CTIS‑M and RG workflows.
Build and enhance frontend components using React and Material UI.
Implement workflow logic including routing, notifications, uploads, inspections, and incident steps.
Write unit tests and integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
Collaborate with business analysts, UI/UX designers, MuleSoft developers, DBAs, and QA engineers.
