Job summary

Syms Strategic Group (SSG) is seeking a skilled C# Developer - II for a fully remote role. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of .NET experience, strong API, database, and cloud skills, and a track record of delivering enterprise software.

You will join a Veterans Affairs department project, work within Agile teams, and contribute to CI/CD automation while maintaining high quality software.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software development experience with .Net technologies.
• Strong experience with C#, .Net Framework/Core, MVC architecture.
• Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs and APIs.
• Experience with SQL Server and EF for data access.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure/AWS).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Familiar with unit testing frameworks (NUnit, xUnit, MSTest).
• Proficient with Visual Studio and Azure DevOps.
• Excellent problem solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform technical planning, requirements definition, and test planning for software systems.
• Develop and maintain .NET back-end services with C# and MVC architecture.
• Collaborate in an Agile environment, participate in daily stand-ups and code reviews.
• Develop and test RESTful APIs; ensure performance and quality of applications.
• Mentor junior developers and support production deployments via CI/CD.
• Document software designs and participate in architecture discussions.
