Job summary

Syms Strategic Group (SSG) is seeking a talented C# Developer - II for a fully remote position. The role requires strong .NET, MVC, REST APIs, and cloud experience, with a focus on delivering enterprise-scale software for the Veterans Affairs department. This is a W2, 100% remote U.S.

based opportunity with a Public Trust clearance requirement. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of .NET development, expertise in back-end services, and hands-on experience with CI/CD, Git, and modern testing

Qualifications

Eight or more years of experience in software development with .NET technologies.
Strong foundation in object-oriented design and patterns.
Experience designing, developing, deploying enterprise applications.

Responsibilities

Perform planning, requirements definition, test planning and execution for software systems.
Develop .NET back-end with C#, unit tests, and CI/CD deployment pipelines.
Participate in daily stand-ups as an active software development team member.
Ensure performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
Document software designs and use IDEs like Visual Studio, Azure DevOps, and Git.
