Job summary

Syms Strategic Group (SSG) is seeking a skilled C# Developer - II to join our Veterans Affairs (VA) program. This remote role requires strong .NET backend capabilities, RESTful API experience, and a solid understanding of MV C/MVC architecture.

You’ll contribute to full-stack development, CI/CD, and production support while collaborating with a dedicated software team. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of C#/.NET experience, proficiency with SQL Server and Entity Framework, cloud familiarity

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or related discipline with 8+ years of experience; Master’s with 5+ years; Ph.D. with 3+ years.
• Extensive hands-on experience delivering enterprise-scale .NET applications.
• Strong background in full-stack development and modern SDLC practices.

Responsibilities

• Perform technical planning and requirements definition for software systems and subsystems.
• Develop and test backend services using .NET Core/C#, including RESTful APIs.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
• Mentor junior developers and promote best practices in code reviews and design.
