Syms Strategic Group (SSG) is seeking a talented C# Developer - II for a 100% remote, U.S.-based position on a Veterans Affairs project. The role requires 5+ years in .NET development, strong C#, and experience with RESTful APIs, SQL Server, and cloud platforms.

You’ll work within an Agile team, contribute to CI/CD, and apply secure coding practices. Required qualifications include MVC back-end development, unit testing with NUnit/xUnit/MSTest, and proficiency in Visual Studio.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of software development with .Net technologies.
• Experience with .Net Framework and .Net Core, C#.
• Proficient in MVC back-end development and RESTful APIs.
• Knowledge of SQL Server and Entity Framework.
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure/AWS) and CI/CD.
• Familiar with DevOps practices and IaC.

Responsibilities

• Perform software planning, requirements definition, testing, integration, and support for software systems.
• Develop full-stack solutions using .NET and C# within an Agile team.
• Participate in daily stand-ups and collaborate with stakeholders.
• Implement test automation and CI/CD pipelines.
• Document software designs and interfaces with diagrams.
