Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a National Rental Customer Development Manager to manage top national rental accounts across the West and Central regions. This remote role involves travel and focuses on retention, wallet share growth, and profitability across a 100-account book.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Business/Marketing and at least five years of sales with quota achievement; experience in rental or RAM/BDM roles is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business and/or Marketing or equivalent experience.
• Five years or more of experience with quota achievement in sales.
• Prior rental industry RAM/BDM or lease-side experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manages a book of approximately 100 top national rental accounts.
• Grows wallet share and revenue within assigned national rental accounts.
• Develops sales plans and a communication plan for each assigned account.
• Schedules and leads customer meetings and builds relationships at all levels.
• Attends customer events and trade shows for applicable industries.
• Completes annual business reviews with assigned customers.
• Analyzes profitability and understands competition and risks.
• Partners with RAMs to mentor and grow the team.
