Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a National Rental Customer Development Manager to grow our national rental accounts. You will manage a book of top customers across the West and Central regions, drive retention, and increase wallet share while leading strategic sales initiatives.

In this remote role, expect 60–75% travel, a base salary of $70,000 with uncapped commissions, and a full benefits package. You’ll need a business/marketing degree and at least five years of sales success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business and/or Marketing or equivalent experience.
• Five or more years of sales experience with quota attainment.
• Experience in rental management or BDM on the lease side is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage a book of approximately 100 top national rental accounts.
• Grow wallet share and revenue within assigned accounts.
• Develop sales plans and account communication plans.
• Schedule and lead customer meetings and build relationships at all levels.
• Attend customer events and trade shows within the territory.
• Complete annual business reviews with assigned customers.
• Analyze profitability and understand competitive influences and risks.
