Cardinal Health is seeking an experienced Meetings and Events professional to plan and execute national meetings and trade shows in a primarily remote-capable role. You will serve as the subject matter expert for event management technology, oversee vendor partnerships, and manage budgets to drive efficiency and impact across programs.

The role requires 4+ years in corporate meetings and trade shows, strong cross-functional leadership, and travel up to 30%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field, or equivalent work experience preferred.
• 4+ years’ experience in corporate meetings and trade shows highly preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives, influence stakeholders, and drive process improvements.
• Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) and Cvent experience preferred.
• Ability to travel up to 30%.

Responsabilités

• Leads the planning and execution of complex national meetings and events, ensuring alignment with business objectives, attendee experience goals, and operational standards.
• Serves as the primary SME for national meetings and event management technology, providing expertise, recommendations, training, and guidance across the team.
• Supports COE initiatives through oversight of assigned programs, tools, processes, and vendor partnerships to drive consistency, scalability, compliance, and operational efficiency.
• Manages strategic vendor relationships and assigned programs, monitoring performance, identifying improvement opportunities, and implementing enhancements to drive service excellence and desired business outcomes.
• Negotiates and tracks budgets. Works with internal stakeholders on budget management.
• Ability to execute trade shows ranging from tabletop to large booths.
• Understands and makes recommendations on contract terms and booth layouts related to meetings and trade shows.
• Utilizes technology to strategically manage meetings.
• Supports with day-to-day team operations.
