Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a seasoned Meetings and Events professional to lead planning and execution of national meetings and trade shows. The role oversees event technology, budgets, and vendor partnerships to ensure strategic alignment and operational excellence.

You will drive cross-functional initiatives, advise on contracts and booth layouts, and mentor team members while supporting daily operations and timely delivery of events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in a related field.
• 4+ years’ experience in corporate meetings and trade shows.
• Ability to travel up to 30%.
• Experience leading cross-functional initiatives and vendor relationships.

Responsibilities

• Leads the planning and execution of complex national meetings and events.
• Serves as the primary SME for national meetings and event management technology.
• Oversees programs, tools, processes, and vendor partnerships for consistency and efficiency.
• Manages strategic vendor relationships and budgets; negotiates terms.
• Executes trade shows from tabletop to large booths and optimizes booth layouts.
• Uses technology to manage meetings and supports day-to-day team operations.
