About the Role

Our client, a leading national distributor of fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG), is seeking a proactive and experienced Remote National Distribution Fleet Coordinator. This is a fully remote position, allowing you to manage and optimize our client's extensive delivery fleet across South Africa from your home office, with a strong understanding of operations potentially benefiting from proximity to Queenstown, Eastern Cape, where significant distribution activities occur. You will be responsible for coordinating daily dispatches, ensuring driver compliance, monitoring fleet performance, and troubleshooting operational issues to guarantee timely and efficient delivery of goods nationwide. Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate national fleet operations, including daily dispatch planning and route optimization for all delivery regions.
• Monitor driver performance, adherence to schedules, and compliance with company policies and safety regulations.
• Utilize fleet management software to track vehicle locations, monitor fuel consumption, and manage maintenance schedules remotely.
• Proactively identify and resolve logistical challenges, such as delivery delays, vehicle breakdowns, or routing issues.
• Liaise with regional depot managers, drivers, and third-party logistics providers to ensure smooth operations.
• Maintain accurate records of fleet activities, including delivery confirmations, mileage, and maintenance logs.

Requirements
