Our client, a leading entity in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) sector, is seeking an organized and proactive Logistics Coordinator to join their fully remote operations team. This role is critical in ensuring the seamless flow of goods from suppliers to customers, optimizing transportation, and managing inventory across the supply chain. You will be responsible for coordinating shipments, liaising with carriers, and ensuring timely delivery while maintaining cost efficiencies. Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule domestic and international shipments of FMCG products, ensuring compliance with all regulations.
• Liaise with transportation providers (trucking companies, freight forwarders) to negotiate rates and ensure efficient service delivery.
• Track shipments in real-time, providing updates to internal stakeholders and customers regarding delivery status.
• Manage inventory levels, ensuring accuracy in tracking and reporting, and working to minimize stockouts and overstock situations.
• Process shipping documentation, including bills of lading, customs declarations, and invoices.
• Identify and resolve logistical issues or delays promptly to minimize disruption to the supply chain.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Logistics Coordinator or in a similar role, preferably within the FMCG or logistics industry.
• Strong understanding of supply chain management principles, transportation modes, and international shipping regulations.
• Proficiency in using logistics software, ERP systems, and MS Office Suite (especially Excel).
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills for dealing with carriers and internal teams.
• Ability to work independently and maintain a high level of productivity in a remote work environment.
