Placements24 is seeking a proactive Remote National Distribution Fleet Coordinator to manage and optimize a nationwide delivery fleet from a home office. You will coordinate dispatches, monitor driver performance, and troubleshoot issues to ensure timely delivery across South Africa.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Admin or related field.
Minimum 4 years in fleet coordination or logistics with national scope.
Proficiency in fleet management software and Microsoft Office.
Strong knowledge of transport regulations and road networks.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Coordinate national fleet operations, daily dispatch planning and route optimization.
Monitor driver performance, schedules, and safety policy compliance.
Track vehicle locations, fuel use, and maintenance remotely.
Resolve delays, breakdowns, and routing issues promptly.
Liaise with regional depots, drivers and third-party providers.
Maintain records of deliveries, mileage and maintenance logs.
Ensure compliance with transportation laws and hours of service.
Analyze data to identify efficiency gains and cost savings.
Support drivers and operations teams nationwide.
Contribute to continuous improvement of distribution strategies.
